What data is processed?
When you contact, register or place an order, data such as your name, contact details, organisation details, billing details and technical data such as your IP address may be processed.
Purposes and legal bases
Nivcom processes data to answer questions, perform agreements, secure accounts, meet statutory administration duties and pursue legitimate business and security interests. Its limited first-party visitor measurement is used on the basis of legitimate interest to improve the website. Google Analytics and other non-essential storage only load after consent.
Privacy-friendly visitor measurement
Nivcom uses its own privacy-friendly visitor measurement to collect general website usage statistics. No analytics cookies are placed. IP addresses are not stored in readable form and visitors are not followed across multiple days. The data is used solely to improve the website and services. Raw measurement data is deleted after 90 days by default; only daily summaries are retained.
Retention periods
Contact enquiries are kept no longer than required for follow-up, generally for up to two years. Account and service data is retained for the customer relationship and afterwards only while required by law or a possible claim. Financial records are retained for seven years. Security logs are retained for the shortest period appropriate to the risk.
External services and transfers
Nivcom may use specialist providers for payments, hosting, domains, email, reCAPTCHA and web statistics. Only necessary data is shared. Where processing occurs outside the European Economic Area, Nivcom uses a legally valid transfer mechanism.
Contact and your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, object to processing and withdraw consent. Contact info@nivcom.nl or call +31 (0)10 3046 086. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority. Statutory retention duties may limit immediate erasure.
